Ann Arbor, Mich. (June 22, 2020) — Climb Marketing has added Metro Detroit digital marketing veteran Hubert Sawyers III as the company’s new Director of Digital Advertising.
Sawyers brings more than 15 years of digital marketing and advertising experience to the Climb Marketing team, and specializes in digital advertising strategy, paid search advertising, and inbound lead generation. In his role with Climb, Sawyers will oversee the agency’s digital advertising practice, continuously optimize service delivery and processes, and provide strategic guidance as a member of the leadership team.
Sawyers previously worked for a number of agencies in the greater Detroit area in director, manager, and enterprise-level project management roles. Sawyers’ diverse background in digital marketing and advertising roles has culminated in his holistic approach to B2B lead generation with a full-funnel view of digital advertising strategy.
“I have had the good fortune to work on just about every tactical element in the digital marketing repertoire, but advertising and the technology that powers it has always been my main love,” Sawyers said. “Climb’s focus on digital advertising provides me a dream opportunity to live out my passion in a way I’ve only just now been afforded.”
As Climb’s new Director of Digital Advertising, Sawyers brings even more focus on maximizing ROI and lead quality for clients, along with deep expertise in managing PPC, social, retargeting, and programmatic advertising campaigns. In addition to his experience with digital advertising platforms, Sawyers also specializes in marketing automation and CRM strategy.

The Director of Digital Advertising role was formerly held by Robbie Bolog, who was promoted to VP of Client Services in October of 2019. Sawyers officially joined the agency in May of 2020.
